On May 21, Kapamilya star Elisse Joson admitted reading comments about her performance in ‘Dirty Linen’.
At the media conference for Miutiso, which LionhearTV covered, Joson confirmed that she reviews her performance in the Kapamilya primetime drama.
The character actress revealed, “Actually, I read some of the comments, kasi pinapanood ko rin talaga yung show itself, not just my scenes but Dirty Linen itself– I watch it.”
However, she clarified that she doesn’t let comments from netizens affect her performance. She explained, “So, sometimes, may mga moments na hindi ko na babasahin intentionally because I don’t want it to affect my work. Kasi as an actor, mararamdaman naman namin if we did a good job in that particular scene. So I feel like it shouldn’t matter what others would say.”
She also acknowledged that the audience’s feedback about her performance was positive.
She then revealed her upcoming project, after ‘Dirty Linen’.
“I’m very excited kasi after Dirty Linen, mayroon ulit akong gagawing bagong show. It’s from Dreamscape, ‘Pirapirasong Paraiso’. So after noong serye, and I’m excited dito kasi ibang-iba talaga from Sophie of ‘Dirty Linen’. So I’m happy that I get to explore more.”
She then mentioned the difficulty of shaping her character in the series. She admitted that it was tough for her to transform into a different character. She also stated that she eventually figured it out.
Joson recently became a part of the hit Kapamilya Primetime drama series ‘Dirty Linen, wherein she portrays Sophie Madrigales, the out-for-revenge ex-girlfriend of Aidan (Zanjoe Marudo).
