Leading digital bank services provider CIMB Bank PH introduces a virtual card for all its deposit customers.
The CIMB Virtual Debit Card enables Fast Plus, GSave, or UpSave account holders to transact online using their savings accounts, safely and securely. It can be activated very easily through the CIMB Bank PH app and comes with the option to set transaction limits – enabling users to shop online, book flights, or purchase tickets online worry-free.
And as a welcome gift to those who will activate their virtual debit cards from 01 May 2023 to 30 June 2023 through the CIMB Bank PH app, the Bank is offering a 5% cashback, capped at PHP 100 per customer per month, applicable for all the transactions with a spend of at least PHP 1,000.
“Through the new CIMB virtual debit card, we are further supporting the BSP’s Digital Payments Transformation Roadmap and overall financial inclusion goals for the country,” shares CIMB Bank PH Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vijay Manoharan. “We are also enabling greater flexibility and increased security for our deposit customers, so that they can easily use their savings to fund their life purpose.”
Deposit customers can easily activate their virtual debit cards under the ‘Card’ section of the CIMB Bank PH app. After activating the same, customers can use the virtual card with any of their savings’ accounts. They also get flexibility to link any of their deposit accounts with the virtual debit card as needed.
