Singer-songwriter Angela Ken paints a picture of a bride in love and ready to commit in her new single “Dambana” released under Star Music.
“It was actually just an unexpected song na nagawa ko kasi naisipan kong gumawa ng brides version ng ‘Pasilyo,’” Angela shared, mentioning the love song by OPM band SunKissed Lola about a groom in awe of his bride.
The sentimental ballad “Dambana” penned by Angela herself and produced by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo speaks of the joy of loving someone with certainty.
“Ang message lang ng ‘Dambana’ is you know, besides marriage, ang sarap magmahal. Kahit sino, kahit ano ka pa. Masarap magmahal lalo na pag sigurado ka dun sa tao,” she said.
The music video of the song starring Kerwin King and Kiara Takahashi will be released tonight (June 16) at 6pm on ABS-CBN Star Music YouTube channel.
“Dambana” signals a new era for Angela as it serves as the first song under her “Para sa Generation EX” offering.
