During Bea Alonzo’s Lie Detector Challenge uploaded on July 1, Kelvin Miranda admitted that he developed feelings for Mikee Quintos while they were working together on “The Lost Recipe.”
Kelvin, known for his role in Sparkle, responded affirmatively when asked if he had ever fallen in love with any of his leading ladies. However, he expressed uncertainty about whether those feelings stemmed from his genuine self or the fictional character he portrayed.
“‘Pag nag-invest ka kasi into a character, ‘pag nag-build ka, magke-create ka talaga ng panibagong universe or panibagong reality na maniniwala ‘yung tao eh,” he said. “So kailangan mo siyang palamanan talaga ng pagmamahal talaga.”
Kelvin shared that he would deeply immerse himself in his co-star’s persona, memorizing their face, voice, and even the things that made them laugh. When Bea encouraged him to reveal the name of the leading lady he had feelings for, he disclosed that it was Mikee.
Despite his feelings, Kelvin emphasized that he prefers to maintain clear boundaries and have relationships outside of work. It’s worth noting that Mikee is currently dating their co-star from “The Lost Recipe,” Paul Salas.
Presently, Kelvin stars alongside Kate Valdez in “Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis,” airing on Sundays at 7:50 p.m., following “Happy ToGetHer.”
