Tessie Tomas remarks ‘Dirty Linen’ was the best teleserye she had ever joined in her career

On August 16, seasoned actress Tessie Tomas remarked ‘Dirty Linen’ was the best teleserye she had ever joined in her 40-year career.

At the media conference for the finale week of ‘Dirty Linen,’ which LionhearTV covered, Tomas regarded the Kapamilya primetime teleserye and its powerhouse cast.

“To me, I have been in the business for forty years. I think lang ha–I think–this is just about the [best,] teleserye I have ever joined in, and I hope the best is yet to come.”

She then highlighted the series’ jolt-inducing moments.

“At tsaka feeling ko, gusto kong maano ka-agad na ma-jolt in the moment. I don’t want as a matter a fact, when I was in the Isle of Man, sometimes nahuhuli ako dahil maraming activities, sa cell phone, I hated that, because I really wanted sa big screen.”

She also praised the production team behind ‘Dirty Linen’ for weaving the series together.

“Natatakot ako kay Donya Cielo at times. Pag nakikita ko–kudos to Dreamscape. This is the magic of technology kasi katulad ng sinabi, akala namin stage play lang ito kapag inaano na eh. It’s raw acting, there’s no music, we’re just given directions, and there’s the acting, and there’s only the take one and the take two. And that’s it.

“Pero kapag finish product na ganon, My God, the way they edit it– the way they compress it, the music, jolts you. The lighting is perfect and all, and tapos makikita mo, ay close up pala ako doon, terible–or what or what no. So everything talaga is ‘magnified,’ and it has [something] to do with the ‘good’ script. I would say the cast is perfect, you know, and everyone gave ‘his or her’ best to this.”

Present during the finale media conference were the series cast Janine Gutierrez, Zanjoe Marudo, Janice De Belen, John Arcilla, Tessie Tomas, Angel Aquino, Christian Bables, Joel Torre, JC Santos, Elisse Joson, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, Xyriel Manabat, Raven Rigor, and Epy Quizon.

Catch the last week of ‘Dirty Linen‘ on platforms such as Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, and TFC.
