On September 14, singer Moira Dela Torre revealed she wants KZ Tandingan as her drinking buddy.
At the media event for brand endorsement for ‘Maria Clara Sangria’ and ‘Maria Clara Virgin,’ which LionhearTV covered, Dela Torre considered Tandingan one of her best friends in the entertainment industry.
“Kakagaling ko lang po ng Milan and si KZ Tandingan po. Sa lahat po ng abroad na– sa lahat po ng tour na nalipad namin, laging kami ‘yung roommates. So isa po siya sa bestfriends ko sa industry. So if I can drink with someone– actually po.”
She then recounted a memorable and funny drunk moment with Tandingan, Zanjoe Marudo, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Dimples Romana, and Jodi Sta Maria.
“Sabi ko po kay KZ four years ago noong nag-ASAP road po kami, sabi ko, ako bahala sayo, aalagaan kita, inom tayo. Ending po siya po nag-alaga po sa akin. Tapos po hinila po kami nila Kuya Zanjoe, ng KathNiel, ni Ate Dimples, ni Miss Jodi Sta Maria, naglakad po kami sa outskirts ng Rome after ng show.
“Tapos ano po, kaladkarin lang po kami ni KZ. Tapos nakahanap po kami ng restaurant, tapos order kami. Mga ano pa po inorder namin ni KZ, mga T-bone steak, tapos siya order siya ng pasta ganyan, tapos noong dumating ‘yung bill, tinginan kami, wala tayong dalang pera.
“So ‘yun po, hindi po kami nag-bayad, si Kuya Zanjoe po ang nagbayad. Medyo wala din po siyang choice.”
She then remarked that she would always want to drink with Tandingan.
“Hindi ko po malilimutan ‘yun. Tapos nung nag-Milan po kami for ASAP siya po ulit ‘yung ka-roommate ko, inofferan nanaman po kami ng alak, tinignan na niya naman po ako ng masama. So ‘yun po, if there’s someone I would always want to drink with, it would be KZ Tandingan.”
As for her endorsement, Dela Torre is the newest brand ambassador of the alcoholic beverages ‘Maria Clara Sangria’ and ‘Maria Clara Virgin.’
She also composed a heartfelt song, ‘Maria Clara,’ to further promote their campaign’s positive message of self-love, regardless of the situation.
