2012 was indeed a lucky year for Julie Anne San Jose for she received numerous awards and granted a lot of projects.
For the start of 2013, Julie Anne’s self-titled debut album exceeds the platinum status (combined CDs and digital sales) according to GMA records. She was awarded Gold Record Award for her album on September 23 on “Party Pilipinas.” (See this article: Julie Anne San Jose’s debut album is now gold!)
No plaque awarded to Julie Anne this afternoon at GMA Network’s “Party Pilipinas Lucky Lucky” but Julie Anne thanked her fans for making the album to platinum status.
Such an achievement for someone so young and relatively new to the music industry. Released just last August, it has already sold more than 20,000 copies making it eligible for a platinum record award.
Julie Anne San Jose the album debuted at No. 1 on iTunes upon its release on August 10, 2012. It includes eleven songs such as I’ll Be There, Let Me Be The One, Enough, Baby You Are, Bakit Ngayon, For Everything, Glad It’s Over, MSB (My Sweet Boy), When I Close My Eyes, When You Said Goodbye and Hold On.
Album is still available on iTunes and at all record outlets nationwide.
