The Lifestyle Network treats their guests to a one of a kind culinary experience with their Around the World in Small Plates charity dinner event.

Lifestyle Network’s charity dinner event titled “Around the World in Small Plates” held at the Rockwell tent served to hundreds of guests a variety of special dishes made by renowned chefs from all over the country. Tickets were sold out in just a few days after announcing the event on air.

Upon entering the venue, guests were given “passports” that contained number cards that were surrendered to each food station.

The one of a kind event was launched to benefit the “I Can Serve Foundation”. It featured a collaboration of the country’s top chefs and Lifestyle Network’s own chefs to create a mouthwatering menu showcasing the different cuisines of the world while highlighting of course our very own, all served in small plates.

Different restaurants and hotels as well as international and homegrown chefs joined the unique event such as Chef Claude Tayag of Bale Dutung, Chefs Romy Dorotan and Amy Besa of Purple Yam, Chefs Walter Manzke and Allen Buhay of Wildflour Café and Bakery, Chef Him Uy de Baron of Nomama, Chef J Gamboa and Chef Watee of Azuthai, Chef Cyrille Soenen of Impressions, Chef Ed Quimson of M Catering and Fine Foods, Chef Christine Marie Sumera of Brasserie Cicou, Chef Stephanie Zubiri of Atelier 317, Chefs JJ Yulo and Namee Jorolan of Pinoy Eats World, Chef Marc Chalopin of Ducasse Institute Philippines and Enderun Colleges, Chef Christopher Chai of Summer Palace, Chef Carlo Miguel of Opus, Lechon Diva Dedet Santos of Pepita’s Lechon, Gustare, Fog City Creamery, Carmen’s Best Ice Cream, Philippine Wine Merchants, Global Beer exchange, TWG Tea, Little Miss OC’s Kitchen, Big Glory Bay Salmon and Seafood Company as well as Lifestyle Network’s own chefs, Chefs Gene and Gino Gonzales of “Chefscapades”, Chef Sharwin Tee of “Curiosity Got the Chef”, and Chef Sabrina Artadi of “Sabrina’s Kitchen”.

The unique dining experience was made possible by Lifestyle Network, the food authority on cable TV.  Food on Lifestyle Network is the strongest and highest rating block of the channel. It carries the best of foreign food programs and the most respected food and culinary icons across the globe.  It has also successfully produced its first local food program, “Curiosity Got the Chef with Chef Sharwin Tee” (now on its second season), with more unique culinary programs lined-up in the coming months.

“Around the World in Small Plates” was an explosion of culinary delight that not only excited the tastebuds but also invigorated the soul.
