The Philippines got 13 nominations at the 17th Asian Television Awards: 6 from ABS-CBN, 3 from GMA Network, 3 from TV5 and 1 from Solar. The announcement of winners in Asian TV Awards 2012, the region’s most significant and star-studded TV industry event, happens at Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore on December 6.
This gala event is also a celebration honouring the outstanding achievements of terrestrial broadcasters, cable and satellite networks, and independent production houses in the region. The ATA recognizes excellence in programming, production, and performance and is the most significant and celebrated event in the Asian TV industry.
