Birit Queens have conquered the Mall of Asia Arena

ASAP’s Birit Queens have proven they’ve had the power to perform in front of thousands of fans.

On March 31, the quartet belted out classic and modern hits at the Mall of Asia Arena. With their ‘basagan ng tonsil’ performance, it’s no questions why the tickets for their first-ever concert were almost sold-out.

The Birit Queens—composed of Jona, Morissette Amon, Klarisse de Guzman and Angeline Quinto—surprised the audience with their chromatical and kaleidoscopic performances.

Their respective performance brought some handsome and sought-after celebrity guests—Iñigo Pascual, Zeus Collins, Sam Concepcion and Angeline Quinto.

But the highlight of the concert that night was from Jona and Morissette who sang Mariah Carey’s “Emotions” and Arianna Grande’s “Problem”. The whole arena went wild as they exhibited their rapping skills and their dolphin voices.

Additionally, BoybandPH serenaded the audience by singing their latest ballad “Someday”, which is currently number one on MOR’s Biga10.

Moreover, the Birit Queens performed their encore as they sang some famous girl groups’ hits such as Spice Girls’ “Stop”, Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious” and Little Mix’s “Wings”.

The concert for me was the introduction of bigger and better Birit Queens. One year since they were formed, it’s still surreal that they have achieved a lot of things than we had expected.

On April 7, the group will bring the concert in Abu Dhabi at National Theatre. Hopefully, more dates for the concert will become available soon.

Congratulations to Birit Queens!
