The much-awaited second season of Lolong, the hit adventure series that captured the hearts of Filipino viewers, is set to return with a bigger, more star-studded cast in ‘Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.’
Returning as the titular character, Ruru Madrid reprises his role as Lolong, the hero with supernatural abilities who is dedicated to protecting his hometown, Tumahan. Alongside him, fans will meet new allies and formidable enemies as the stakes get higher in the show’s thrilling new chapter.
In an exciting addition, actress Nikki Valdez joins the powerhouse cast of ‘Lolong: Bayani ng Bayan.’ Valdez will play Jessabel, one of Lolong’s aunts, who arrives in Tumahan to reunite with him and her sister, Tiya-Ninang Isabel.
Valdez expressed her excitement for the role on Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the recent cast reveal and story conference. “Yes, I made it to this side! So looking forward! NAGBABALIK ANG BAYANI NG BAYAN—LOLONG! Narito ang buong cast ng pinakaaabangang dambuhalang serye ng GMA Public Affairs sa GMA Prime!” she wrote in her post.
