‘Pinoy Big Brother Season 11’ Big Winner Fyang Smith added another milestone to her burgeoning career by serving as a judge and performer at Kryzl Group of Companies’ ‘Purple Rhapsody: A Year-End Dance Spectacular’.
The event, held on December 22 at the VS Hotel in Quezon City, marked a celebration of talent and creativity to close out the year.
Since her ‘PBB’ win in October 2024, Smith has been busy seizing numerous opportunities, and her role at Purple Rhapsody was no exception. The influencer-turned-reality TV star captivated the audience not just with her judging skills but also with a special performance that showcased her multifaceted talent.
When asked about how she handles negativity and criticisms from bashers, Smith revealed her resilience.
“Manhid na. Even before (PBB), noong influencer pa ako, naranasan ko na. And lahat ng mga ‘yun, hindi totoo. Hindi ako nasasaktan. And ‘yung mga sinasabi sa’king (negative) are very light,” she said.
On being compared to other ‘PBB’ winners and housemates, Smith maintained her positive outlook, emphasizing her strong bond with her fellow contestants. “Wala. We’re all friends, and kapag may naririnig kaming gan’ung comments, like ‘Okay?’ We’re close friends and we all know each other. And hindi totoo ‘yun,” she explained.
Smith’s victory inPBB Gen 11′ was celebrated with an impressive array of prizes, including a trip for two to South Korea, a one-month LazAffiliates ambassador contract worth P400,000, a brand-new house and lot, and P1 million in cash. Her continued visibility in high-profile events like Purple Rhapsody highlights her growing influence in the entertainment industry.
Apart from Smith, the event featured appearances by Kapamilya stars Jackie Gonzaga and ‘It’s Showtime’ Kids Argus, Kelsey, Kulot, and Jaze, who were named Purple Hearts Sweethearts during the celebration.
