The actor, dubbed by fans as the ‘Nation’s Favorite Son,’ recently announced his first post-‘PBB’ acting project — a role in the upcoming sequel ‘Bar Boys 2’.
“So happy to be back on set!” Will wrote on Instagram, expressing his excitement over returning to work. He also shared photos from his acting workshop with director Kip Oebanda, signaling his eagerness to grow further as an actor.
Though he and his ‘PBB’ duo partner Ralph de Leon finished as Second Big Placer Duo, it’s clear Will is already reaping the rewards of his increased visibility. Just days after the finale, Will hit a major social media milestone — one million followers on Instagram.
“Heyyyy, 1M! Maraming salamat po sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap!” he posted on Instagram. On X (formerly Twitter), he added, “HAPPY 1M FOLLOWERS SA IG!! SALAMAT SA OL! LAB KO KAYOOOO.”
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded his accounts with congratulatory messages, praising his talent, humility, and growth throughout the ‘PBB’ season. Many noted how the reality show significantly boosted his fanbase, especially compared to last year when he was relatively under the radar during film events like the Cinemalaya screening of ‘Balota’, where he played the son of Marian Rivera’s character.
