The real bad guys are here, and they’re giving The Bad Guys a run for their money in The Bad Guys 2. A massive heist is underway and Mr. Wolf and the gang are unwilling participants as The Bad Girls blackmail them into cooperation. The stakes have never been higher as the now reformed gang of outlaws try to outplay the new bad guys and save the world.
Kitty Kat, the cunning and fierce leader of The Bad Girls, is voiced by Oscar® nominee Danielle Brooks. A snow leopard that will not stop until she gets what she wants, she forces The Bad Guys into dangerous situations to move her master plan forward. “Kitty’s power comes from her quiet confidence,” Brooks says.
“She never has to raise her voice to be heard. She wants to show the world that she can outsmart the best and prove her worth in a way no one expects. She knows she is three steps ahead of everyone else, and that knowledge gives her an unshakeable composure. Finding the balance between being completely controlled and genuinely dangerous was my way into her voice.”
Doom, also known as Susan, is voiced by Natasha Lyonne. A raven with sharp skills and an even sharper tongue, her infiltrations skills are the key to taking down The Bad Guys from within, and her target was the unwitting Mr. Snake (Marc Maron).
“What makes the dynamic between Doom and Snake so interesting is the power play,” Lyonne says. “Doom knows exactly how to manipulate him, but there is also a real connection that develops. Well, ‘real’ might be generous. She is calculating; he is cynical, but somehow, they click. The tension between her mind games and the unexpected genuine moments between them makes their relationship really entertaining. I have known Marc for years, so it was easy to fall into a natural rhythm with him.”
Tech-savvy Pigtail is voiced by Oscar® nominee Maria Bakalova, a Bulgarian wild boar with a criminal streak. Her tools and intellect bring success to The Bad Girls’ heists, but as a fan of The Bad Guys, she becomes an unpredictable asset. “On the surface, Pigtail is this imposing wild boar, but underneath, she is a brilliant and sweet engineer with a passion for crime and technology,” Bakalova says. “Her strength and intellect make her an invaluable part of the team, but it is her inner fan-girl side that really made her fun to play. She is constantly in awe of The Bad Guys, yet also trying to prove herself, which creates this great tension between her admiration and her desire to fit in.”
