Celebrating Filipino music and the artists behind the hits—that’s the mission of TV5’s newest music countdown show ‘Vibe’, which officially premieres on Saturday, August 9.

The weekly program puts Original Pilipino Music (OPM) front and center, giving the public the power to decide which songs make it to the top through a multi-platform voting system via SMS, web, Meta Messenger, and radio requests through 105.7 TrueFM.
The Vibe Jocks—Ana Ramsey, Dylan Menor, Queenay Mercado, Kych Minemoto, Ryle Santiago, Paulo Angeles, Elijah Canlas, Drag Race Philippines winner Maxie Andreison, and Joao Constancia—will host the show, perform with featured musicians, and interact with fans.
MQuest Ventures’ Gen V artists—Carmela Lorzano, Niko Badayos, Gab Pascual, Selina Griffin, Adam Buck, and Mark Ian—are also set to appear.
At the helm is veteran director Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, who promises a youthful and modern approach to the music-variety format.
“We’re not just showing music. We’re building a community where fans directly decide what they hear and who they celebrate,” said Jane Jimenez-Basas, president and CEO of MediaQuest. “It’s about giving power to new artists while honoring the legends who came before.”
