Fans of Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli were treated to a kilig moment at the SM BeautyCon 2025 when the Popstar Royalty openly called her husband her “dream husband.”
During a segment with Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Hayden Kho at the SMX Convention Center on Aug. 29, the celebrity doctors shared that Matteo had long admired Sarah—even as a teenager.
According to Vicki and Hayden, Matteo once confided to them when he was only 16 years old that Sarah was his “dream girl.”
When asked about it in front of the audience, Sarah sweetly responded that Matteo is, in turn, her dream husband, flexing how ideal of a partner he has been to her.
The singer-actress’ candid admission immediately sent the live crowd into a frenzy, with fans cheering loudly. On social media, clips of the moment quickly trended as Popsters and casual netizens expressed their joy over Sarah’s rare public affection for her husband.
“Kinikilig ako! Sarah finally said it—dream husband Matteo!” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). Another added, “Please, a big church or garden wedding for Sarah and Matteo 2.0. We need to see her in a bridal gown again!”
Others wished the couple would soon welcome a baby, making the kilig moment even more meaningful for their supporters.
The sweet exchange was just one of the highlights of BeautyCon 2025: Destination Beauty, dubbed as the country’s biggest beauty and personal care event, which gathered over 160 brands and numerous celebrity endorsers from Aug. 28–31.
