The wondrous land of Oz is coming to Singapore as Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) proudly hosts the Asia-Pacific premiere of Universal Pictures’ Wicked: For Good, the epic conclusion to the global cinematic phenomenon, on 13 November 2025.
This dazzling occasion will mark the red-carpet arrival of the film’s all-star cast—including Oscar® nominee Cynthia Erivo, Oscar® nominee Ariana Grande, Oscar® winner Michelle Yeoh, pop culture icon Jeff Goldblum, along with celebrated director Jon M. Chu—as they walk down the iconic Yellow Brick Road and into the heart of Oz at Universal Studios Singapore.
The Singapore premiere is the fourth stop of a five-city global premiere tour for Wicked: For Good, the electrifying conclusion to last year’s worldwide Wicked sensation. Last year, Wicked became the most successful Broadway film adaptation of all time, earning more than $750 million worldwide and securing 10 Academy Award® nominations, including Best Picture.
The evening will feature a handprint ceremony and culminate in the screening at Pantages Hollywood Theatre. An exclusive fan event will take place at WEAVE, RWS’s lifestyle and community space, as a prelude to the premiere. Based on one of the most beloved and enduring stage musicals in Broadway history, Wicked: For Good is the final chapter of the untold story of the witches of Oz. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now demonised as The Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile, hidden within the Ozian forest while continuing her fight for the freedom of Oz’s silenced Animals and desperately trying to expose the truth she knows about The Wizard (Jeff Goldblum). Glinda (Ariana Grande), meanwhile, has become the glamorous symbol of Goodness for all of Oz, living at the palace in Emerald City and reveling in the perks of fame and popularity. With their singular friendship now the fulcrum of their futures, they will need to truly see each other, with honesty and empathy, if they are to change themselves, and all of Oz, for good.
