Childhood friendships, unspoken emotions, and a looming secret take center stage in the newly released teaser of ‘Someone, Someday,’ marking Kathryn Bernardo’s return to television alongside James Reid.
On Sunday, December 14, ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment unveiled the preview of the upcoming series, which also stars Maja Salvador. The teaser introduces Bernardo and Reid as childhood best friends whose bond appears to be tested as hidden feelings begin to surface. Salvador’s character, meanwhile, is presented as a fan of Bernardo’s character, though she seems to be concealing a secret that could alter their relationships.
The series is directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu. Last month, Bernardo and Reid officially began taping for the project, with Dreamscape Entertainment sharing behind-the-scenes photos from the set that also featured several other cast members.
ABS-CBN and Dreamscape first announced in August that Bernardo would be making her television comeback with Reid as her co-star. ‘Someone, Someday’ marks Bernardo’s return to the teleserye format since ‘2 Good 2 Be True’ in 2022, while it serves as Reid’s first ABS-CBN drama since ‘Till I Met You’ in 2016.
Further details on the series, including its premiere date, have yet to be announced.
