SM Mall of Asia Music Hall was filled with bright smiles and upbeat energy on February 1, 2026, as Kathryn Bernardo led the launch of the 22nd National Dental Health Month—an event that also marked Colgate’s 100th year in the Philippines.

Organized in partnership with the Philippine Dental Association, the celebration turned the venue into a lively space for awareness and advocacy, highlighting the importance of proper oral care for Filipinos of all ages.

The hall quickly came alive with colorful displays, cheerful music, and interactive booths that welcomed families, students, and dental professionals. Educational corners and hands-on activities made learning about dental hygiene accessible and engaging, especially for younger participants, while reinforcing the value of daily habits such as brushing and regular dental checkups.

The crowd’s excitement peaked when Kathryn Bernardo took the stage, bringing warmth and positivity to the program. Her presence helped make the advocacy feel personal and relatable, as messages about confidence, smiling, and taking care of one’s teeth resonated strongly with attendees. The event also emphasized the goal of making dental care more accessible, underscoring that a healthy smile should be within reach for every Filipino.

Colgate’s century-long presence in the country added a sense of heritage to the celebration, reflecting how oral health has been a constant part of Filipino households across generations. Throughout the program, the strong collaboration between Colgate and the Philippine Dental Association was evident, from community-focused messaging to activities designed to promote lifelong dental wellness.

As the opening of the 22nd National Dental Health Month concluded, the atmosphere remained light, joyful, and purposeful—proving that promoting oral health can be both meaningful and fun, and that one smile can help inspire a healthier nation. (with reports from Carlos Aragon)
