Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia laughed off rumor that she is allegedly ‘verbally abusive’ to former love team Ruru Madrid. “I simply laughed about it because there is no truth to it. Ewan ko kung saan nila nakuha iyon. Like we were fighting on the set daw,” said Gabbi during an interview with Pep.ph.
She further explained: “First of all, why would we do it, maraming tao? I know Ruru so well. Hindi kami ganun. We treat each other well. We are not just co-stars, we are also friends,” said Gabbi.
Gabbi admitted that since she and Ruru were always together, they also had disagreements just like everyone else. But she said she has never uttered any offensive words towards Ruru. She said she has high regard for him as an individual, much more as a friend.
“I honestly do not know where it is coming from. First of all, when our love team was separated in Encantadia, they did not hear from me, I did not complain,” she said.
Gabbi wonders why people would make up stories like that. She doesn’t have any idea who’s making these issues against her. Others says there must be a job demolition against her.
One thing is sure though, they cannot make Gabbi give up. “As long as I am confident, we know each other well and we know the truth, there is nothing to be afraid of,” Gabbi said.
“At the end of the day, if you know yourself well enough, if you’re confident about yourself and you do not let anyone dictate who you are, whatever rumor that comes your way is not going to matter,” Gabbi explained.
