Former Kapuso actress Angel Castro is embracing a daring new direction in her career as she officially joins VMX and stars in the upcoming film ‘Creampie’.
Unlike many actresses who admit to feeling nervous about intimate scenes, Angel said she felt completely at ease while filming her first VMX project.
“To be honest, with the love scenes, hindi ako kinabahan at all,” she revealed during her media conference.
According to the actress, the controlled environment on set helped her remain comfortable.
“Wala naman masyadong tao sa room. Just the cameraman and the assistant director.”
Angel also credited her confidence to her positive relationship with her own body.
“I’m very comfortable with my body, so it was no big deal.”
The actress said her decision to accept bolder projects reflects the growth and maturity she has gained over the years.
At 27, she believes she is finally ready to explore different facets of her craft and challenge herself as a performer.
When asked about comments from fans calling her the “Next VMX Queen,” Angel responded enthusiastically.
“Wow, gusto ko ‘yon!” she exclaimed. “It’s a big praise na people are saying that kahit papaano, and I am very, very excited for my future.”
Despite the comparisons, Angel emphasized that there is no rivalry among VMX actresses.
“Magkakaibigan kami,” she said, noting that she sees her fellow VMX stars more as colleagues and friends than competitors.
With her confidence, renewed outlook, and willingness to take risks, Angel appears determined to establish herself as one of the platform’s rising stars.
