Team Vitality Take Down NAVI PH to Secure Back-to-Back Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s International at Esports World Cup 2026 Trophies

Team Vitality have been crowned the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Women’s International (MWI) at Esports World Cup 2026 champions, securing their second EWC win and the fourth MWI title.

Proving themselves to be juggernauts of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s scene, Team Vitality have secured their fourth MWI title. The first place victory saw Team Vitality take home $150,000, and rack up an invaluable 1,000 points in the Club Championship.

The Indonesian team came into the Grand Final looking to become back-to-back Champions following their win at MWI 2025 at the Esports World Cup. Team Vitality, a French Club with an Indonesian roster, are one of the most successful and decorated teams in women’s MLBB, and are well known for their experience, consistency, and strong international record.

In their way stood Natus Vincere (NAVI) PH, a Filipino team that continued to showcase the strength of Philippine esports on the global stage. The squad that previously took down Team Vitality at MWI 2024 delivered another strong international campaign this year, overcoming a challenging Lower Bracket run during the Group Stage to secure a spot in the Knockout Stage and Grand Finals.

This year’s grand final marked a historical rematch for the two teams, but one which saw the French Club come out on top, securing a 4-2 victory across a best-of-seven.

The path to victory, however, wasn’t easy. The first game saw early domination from NAVI, keeping the Indonesian roster on their toes, as they took the win. Vitality then pushed back to even the score in game two, and keeping the pressure up, they secured their second point in the third game, putting NAVI on a 2-1 backfoot. By the sixth game, Vitality were sitting at match point and despite NAVI’s best efforts to see it through to all seven games, the reigning champions ended the tournament in a blink, and a strong 4-2 finish saw the queens of MLBB hold onto their crowns as Esports World Cup winners. Despite the defeat, this runner-up finish marks another milestone for Philippine esports, reinforcing the country’s position as one of the strongest competitive regions in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

On being champions yet again, Michelle “Chell” Siswanto said, “I saw how hard my team works, and I think we really deserved this victory. I’m really, really happy. I just want to say to [NAVI], if you guys really wanted to win this time – not a chance.”

The dominance of Team Vitality was shown through each of the five-strong roster, but it was Viorelle “Vival” Chen who was named the SONY MVP, her second MVP title. The award sees Vival take home an additional $25,000 in winnings.

On being named MVP, Vival said, “I’m really, really happy with this award, and the result of this year’s MWI together with my team. This year’s MWI is held in Paris, which is the home ground of Team Vitality, and we dedicate this win to everyone, to our fans. It was a blast.”

This year’s tournament at the Esports World Cup also marked the change from the MLBB Women’s Invitational to the MLBB Women’s International, a fully realised global championship for the women’s scene. It also marked the MWI’s major European debut, with Vitality lifting the trophy on home soil in Paris.

NAVI PH’s performance further highlighted the growing global recognition of Filipino talent in women’s esports, as the team represented the Philippines among the world’s top MLBB competitors.

Meanwhile, the third-place game saw Galaxy Phoenix take on Geltik Cyber Team in a best-of-five. While the battle was hard fought, it was Geltek Cyber Team who emerged victorious in a clean 3-0 sweep. GCT, the only European team to make the Knockout Stage, finished with a $50,000 share of the prize pool, and 500 Club Championship points.
