An Appeal to all XLR8 and DTM FANS

This is the Official statement from Down to Mars’ Mothership (Admin)

I intend to post this statement in order for us to peek some glimpse of enlightenment in these current stirrings.

FIRST.

On and off the stage, the 6 guys of DTM and the 8 guys of XLR8 are good friends. They have casual talks and share their appreciation to each other. In fact, two from XLR8 members even shared a dressing room at DTM’s room kanina at Party Pilipinas. The parents of our idols (xlr8 and dtm) even exchange pleasantries. I see no rivalry, I hear no harsh words from these people to each other as oppose to the fans’ bashing lingering online and during the Party P show. I appeal to both DTM and XLR8 fans to please emulate the goodness of our idols. They are our role models. Let us maintain a sense of respect to each other.

SECOND.

Just lately at Party Pilipinas Studio, the management positioned DTM guests fronting the XLR8 fans. Those that were positioned in front of the XLR8 fans were actually relatives and some parents of DTM. What would a mother feels if she hears nasty words against her son from a rowdy crowd? The mother’s instinct is to protect her son no matter what. Even worse because during DTM’s segment the XLR8 fanatics were jeering/shouting for ‘XLR8’. The fact that xlr8 wasn’t on the stage… it was ultimately unethical. The Party P. production crews were bothered but it was stopped because one DTM parent exclaimed “Wala ba kayong mga pinag-aralan?” From the course of DTMs performance, that said parent almost fell from the bench; she was pushed intentionally from one of the people on her back. Who were those people seated at the back? Again, this is an issue of respect. We need to emulate the goodness of our idols.

DTM and XLR8 fans…Please, I appeal before you. These things are reaching too far. Let us not put our dear idols into shame because they are good people and they are giving each other good relationship on and off the stage.

Hope I made my self clear. Let us support Party Pilipinas and GMA shows!

hindi naman sa gustong manakit o mambastos ng mga fans ng xlr8, hindi kami ganun, they shout for xlr8 khit wala na cla sa stage kc they want more of them, or sobrang may hang over pa sila. ganyan din reaction ng mom ko nung sumama syang manood ng ppop concert, popgirls ata ung ngpeperform nun, hindi p cla umeexit, nghiyawan n ung ibang fans for xlr8, gling ata kc cla nun sa likod, i cant remember na, ganun… pero ndi naman kmi masasamang tao, ang alam ko lang, kung ako ung nasabihan ng walang pinag-aralan, masasaktan ako, i’m just expressing my love for my favorite artist e. ganun. sna naiintindihan din un ng relatives ng down to mars. un lang. i have nothing against DTM, preho lang silang artist ng PP kaya ngugustuhan ko n rin sila… peace out!
