Pinoy bands and artists jam for Pinoy athletes in SEA Games in “Lakas Banda, Lakas Pinas”

Join the biggest concert-party in support of the Filipino athletes in the SouthEast Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia this Friday (Nov 11) in “Lakas Banda, Lakas Pinas: Ako ang Simula The Concert,” 6 PM, at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Open Field.

Hosted by anchors Karen Davila, Anthony Taberna, at Atty. Pochoy Labog, “Lakas Banda, Lakas Pinas” will celebrate Pinoy pride and excellence in the field of sports together with your favorite bands and artists like Imago, Barbie, Tanya Markova, Peryodiko, Itchyworms, Malay, Kamikazee, The Dawn, Rocksteddy, Bayang Barrios and Pedicab.

Also performing at the concert are “Pilipinas Got Talent 3” shadow play act El Gamma Penumbra, original Pinoy rappers Kiriko, and singing teen heartthrob Khalil Ramos as well as the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, Far Eastern University Pep Squad, and De La Salle University Animo Squad.

To watch, just like the “Ako ang Simula” Facebook page at www.facebook.com/aasTV. Print your wall showing your recent activity where you liked the said fanpage and present it as a ticket with your valid ID at the concert entrance. Walk-ins will also be welcomed as long as they present a valid ID. Gates will open at 4PM.

“Lakas Pinas” is ABS-CBN’s campaign in support of the Philippine team at the ongoing SEA games. Watch the Philippines compete in the basketball and football games via Studio 23’s coverage.
