JM de Guzman is now ready to portray the role of Pedro Calungsod in a movie. Pedro Calungsod is a visayan martyr and second Filipino saint which Pope Benedict XVI will canonize on October 21, 2012. This will be JM‘s next big project after the success of the afternoon series “Angelito : Batang Ama.”
JM, who can’t express his joy and excitement enough, said: “Yeah, tuloy na! Wala pang exact date na mag-i-start, pero ang sabi sa akin, ang target date is October. Another big opportunity kasi first leading role ko sa movie, so excited!”
“Kung may mga kailangan akong gawin, gagawin ko for the role. Paghahandaan ko talaga ito nang mabuting-mabuti, ire-research ko siya,” JM added.
