To prepare before the ultimate showdown, the nine grand finalists were each be trained by comediennes Joy Viado, KitKat, Cacai Bautista, and Matt Evans, Jimmy Bondoc, Aira of Sexbomb, Princess Ryan, and 6Cyclemind vocalist Tutti Caringal.
The celebrity mentors not only utilized years of experience as performers to make sure their bits win but also lived at their homes and bonded with them.
Battling for the P1 million prize and the title of Bida Kapamilya champion are Santos family of Malabon; Lucero family of Calamba, Laguna; Rivera family of Binangonan, Rizal; Perez family of Tarlac; Diokno family of Valenzuela; Villalobo family of Infanta, Quezon; Gollayan family of Santiago, Isabela; Caindoy family of Quezon City; and De Jesus family of Navotas, the winner of last week’s wild card round.
Beginning Monday (Oct 15), “It’s Showtime” will give a glimpse of the celebrity mentors’ experiences by featuring bonding moments and rehearsals with the families.
