“Kris TV” made history in Philippine TV as “Love, Love, Love ni Kris” as it granted almost 100 of the grandest and most exciting prizes to 60 deserving winners with inspiring life stories. The number of winners in the gift-giving event has a special meaning to Kris–the 42 winnersrepresent her 42nd birthday, while the 18 recipients symbolize her 18 years as a Kapamilya. The sum of 42 and 18 was even made more special as it equal to ABS-CBN’s celebration of 60 years of Philippine television.
On the first day of “Love, Love, Love ni Kris,” Kris gave away jaw-dropping luxury gifts including an iPad mini from Globe for the strong and highly spirited breast cancer patient Connie Panibio; ‘his and hers’ Philip Stein watches for Marie Sol and Oji Cruz for their 27 years of well-fortified marriage; Louis Vuitton Neverfull Bag from Dra. Vicki Belo for happily single and successful lady Mary Grace Ramos; and three days and two nights stay in Discovery Shores, Boracay for couple Rachelle at Raul Clemente who remained positive while waiting for the coming of their first born.
Equally astonishing prizes were given to the day-2 winners. Cecil Cruz, who only used to buy shoes that are marked down on 50%-off sale, won 14 pairs of shoes from Aldo and Charles and Keith. The 52-James Patterson book collection from National Book Store, went to 18-year old book lover Arriane Villegas.
Other lucky “Kris TV” viewers were treated by the Queen of All Media with different fashion staples and gift certificates from the country’s biggest clothing brands. Kris even prepared her favorite food and among those who enjoyed was Ayla Urrea, a public school teacher for 19 years who serve as an inspiration to her students. The most coveted trips to Misibis Bay in Albay and Panglago Bluewater Resort in Bohol went to couples Kenneth and Martee Cacho, and Cynthia and Efren Sanchez, who all shared their heartwarming love stories. Lastly, a magical trip to Hong Kong Disneyland was given to couple Eric and Ma. Theresa Padilla. Theresa tweeted to “Kris TV” so that her husband could see his longtime crush–Kris herself!
