When she was a child, Jessa Aquino (not her real name) was sexually abused by her own uncle – a traumatic experience that has been haunting her to this day.
When she told her mom about it, she didn’t believe her and even accused her of making up stories about her uncle. When she became a mom herself, she vowed to protect her daughters from having the same fate. One day, she is devastated by what she learns: her eldest daughter has been raped by her partner.
This Saturday, May 18, GMA’s drama anthology program “Magpakailanman” will dramatize Jessa’s story in an episode entitled, “Child Rape Video Scandal.” Actress Angelu de Leon will portray as Jessa, while Kyle Ocampo will play the role of Jessa’s sexually abused daughter.
Directed by multi-awarded director Laurice Guillen, the episode airs after “Vampire Ang Daddy Ko” on GMA-7.
