Motivational speaker, entrepreneur, and content creator Chinkee Tan is set to make a special television appearance after revealing that Michael V. personally invited him to guest-star in an upcoming episode of GMA’s long-running sitcom Pepito Manaloto.
In a recent social media post, Chinkee expressed his surprise and gratitude upon receiving the invitation, especially after learning that it was the award-winning comedian himself who requested his participation.
According to Chinkee, it has been nearly three decades since he last appeared regularly in a television series or film.
“Nagulat ako nang makatanggap ng imbitasyon para maging guest sa Pepito Manaloto—at mas nagulat pa ako nang malaman kong si Michael V. mismo ang nag-request.”
He added that accepting the role was an easy decision because of his long-standing admiration for the actor-comedian.
“Matagal ko nang hinahangaan si Bitoy, kaya agad kong tinanggap ang invitation.”
Chinkee also described Michael V., popularly known as Bitoy, as a true legend in Philippine comedy, expressing how honored he felt to work with one of the country’s most respected entertainers.
Known primarily for his work as a motivational speaker, financial literacy advocate, television host, and digital content creator, Chinkee’s guest appearance marks a rare return to scripted television.
