And this Father’s Day, Rocco chose to celebrate it by engaging in their favorite hobby that will not only tighten their bond but will also make them both fit.
This June 19, Rocco and his dad will go boxing together at their partly owned boxing gym at Elorde Ortigas. Rocco and his dad will show their fitness routines and talk about how they maintain their bodies in top-form.
“Before, I was used to be teased that I was way too big and I looked like a dad, after that I started my exercise by jogging and everything followed.”
At present Rocco is not only into boxing but he’s also into running and other sports like jiu-jitsu, muay thai, mixed martial arts, wing chun, arnis and basketball. Despite of his busy schedule, he really finds time to get fit. And when the time permits, he tags along his dad to go with him.
After the successful turn-out of his shows like “Bayan Ko” GMA News TV’s first original series and his afternoon soap with Lovi Poe, Rocco-Lovi fanatics need not wait any more since they’ll be back together on a new primetime show entitled “Hanggang Ngayon.”
