A ‘more mature’ role for Alden Richards in the upcoming series “Carmela”

From leading an afternoon series “Alakdana,” Alden Richards immediately jumped to Primetime with his loveteam Louise delos Reyes last year via “One True Love.” This show proved Alden’s acting skills, and his ability to handle a big show for a Primetime slot. Because of the success of their primetime series, it was followed immediately with another primetime series “Mundo Mo’y Akin” which was originally slated to air for sixteen weeks, the series was awarded several extensions due to its consistent good performance in the ratings game. The series was also considered a critical success, positively received by viewers, writers and critics, from its premiere episode.

Alden is known to have the cutest face and smile in showbiz. Before, I haven’t think of him as a ‘sexy actor’ but after the recent Cosmo Bash, where he shed off boy next door image, I was convinced that he also has a very great body physique. And to think that months before that, he looked like a baby-looking guy, better for the ‘nice-guy’ image. But well, we all know that he worked hard for it, especially for his body. He transformed from just a guy to a man, a man more matured, fit for another woman.

His new series “Carmela” will be Alden’s another ‘step-up’ as an actor. He will be playing a bad boy role, very different from what we have seen on his past TV series. Though he’s also bad in the movie “The Road,” but well, this is still TV, this is a different market.

All I can say now is, goodluck to your new show Alden, I’m pretty sure this will be a hit, of course with Marian.
