Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak – the most heart pounding action flick of the season – recently premiered at Geegee Mall Cinema 1 in Ozamiz where thousands of fans flocked to see and meet the film’s cast live and in person.

The film’s premiere night in Ozamiz was attended by action superstar Robin Padilla, RJ Padilla, Matt Padilla, and Rommel Padilla.

Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak is a joint project of Star Cinema and RCP Productions and it assembles the iconic Padilla clan for the very first time in one gigantic action movie. The movie stars Robin Padilla (who recently won Best Actor in the 2014 MMFF for his stirring performance in 10,000 Hours), Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, Kylie Padilla, Bella Padilla, RJ Padilla, Matt Padilla, and ABS-CBN’s Primetime Teen King Daniel Padilla (who recently starred in Pagpag which was named as the highest grossing horror movie in the history of the MMFF).

Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak, which garnered tremendous applause and positive feedback in its Ozamiz red-carpet premiere, is a period film set in the turbulent decade of the 70s. It is loosely based on the true-life story of Ongkoy (Robin Padilla) who was once the leader of the infamous anti-vigilante group “Kuratong Baleleng” that gained notoriety in Ozamiz City during the 70s.

Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak aims to address the truth and lies that shrouded the “Kuratong Baleleng” 70s controversy. The movie valiantly proves that love of family and for country will always prevail despite troublesome times.

This socio-historic action drama offers myriad insights that will surely touch the hearts of every Filipino from the ideology that each person can be a hero not only to the country but also to friends and family as well; to the universal law that no bad deed shall go unpunished. At the very core of the movie are the undying spirits of both truth and justice that celebrate the transformative power of good deeds done with great passion and good faith.

Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak is directed by Jon Villarin and it also stars Christopher De Leon, Dina Bonnevie, Rommel Padilla, Karla Estrada, Pen Medina, Lito Pimentel, Dennis Padilla, Aljur Abrenica, and Bugoy Carino among many others. Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak shows in cinemas nationwide starting January 29. The film is part of Star Cinema’s on-going 20th anniversary celebration.

Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina, At Mga Anak will have a grand red-carpet premiere in Manila at Gateway Mall Cinema 4 on January 28.
