It’s a clash between two ugly characters, Janine Gutierrez is Ikay in GMA Network’s newest primetime drama “More Than Words” with Elmo Magalona and the other one is Kim Chiu from last year’s blockbuster movie “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?” with Xian Lim.
In “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?,” Sandy Veloso (Chiu) is a modern-day ugly duckling who is obsessed with her boyfriend Edgardo (Cipriano). After he breaks with her, Sandy is left to ponder why she feels unwanted. Meanwhile, Gutierrez is Ikay, a girl with exotic looks and who is constant daydreaming. She creates an alter ego in the fictional character named Katy Perez in an online blog titled Diary of a Queen Bee.
Ikay and Sandy are both ugly! But who among Janine and Kim portrayed the role better?
