Now a make-up artist and beauty consultant, former housemaid Myra Bendaña is proud of her past and all she has had to go through before she made it as a successful entrepreneur.
Watch Myra talk about her life and struggles tomorrow (Jan 21) on “My Puhunan,” where anchor Karen Davila also features the success story of another former maid.
After serving as a housemaid for four years, Myra worked as a janitress, waitress, bartender, and entertainer in Japan then sent herself to school using her own money. Due to sheer perseverance, she put up her own salon and later became a professional make-up artist.
Also featured in the episode is Gina Macahilos, who has found success in the stock market and has so far earned P700,000.
After following the advice of her employer, popular lay minister and businessman Bo Sanchez, Gina set her fears and doubts aside, convinced that investing her hard-earned money would be wise. Bo also talks about getting started in the stock market and shares some tips on investing.
