People have differences, whether it is food, hobbies or even a preference to love teams. And since the era of Sharon-Gabby and Maricel-Albert love teams, they have their own group of fans. This was carried over until this generation. Now, people are rooting over Kathryn-Daniel or more popularly called as KATHNIEL and James-Nadine, also called as JADINE. This two love team is the most loved today and have the most number of followers. Everyone is waiting for their every move. They support them in mall shows, movie premieres and even a simple TV guesting. They are, wherever KathNiel and JaDine is. Bad side is, they compare as well. When JaDine transferred to ABS-CBN Network, they start comparing Nadine Lustre to Kathryn Bernardo. First, they accused Nadine as copying Kathryn’s looks. That issue was long overdue. They soon realized that the two girls doesn’t really look alike. But one thing fans want their idols to do is to meet each other and see what it is like. Will there be an awkwardness between the two? Well the much-awaited meeting happened on Sunday, May 17.
It was Nadine’s idea to meet Kathryn personally and she got this chance on their recent appearance in ASAP last Sunday. Nadine wants to break the awkwardness other people started when they first compared. So, when she learned that they will do the opening of the weekend concert program, she didn’t waste any time to talk to her. Nadine said:
“Lumapit ako the sabi ko, ‘Hi I’m Nadine, nice to finally meet you.’ Yun lang. After nun nag-spiel na kami and ssabi ko sa kanya napanuod ko yung teaser ng “Pangako Sa’yo’ and nag thank you siya.”
For Nadine, it was a relief to finally able to talk to Kathryn. They never talked about the comparison between them and the competition between the two love teams. She also added that:
“It was okay actually. I don’t want anyone to feel (ilang) towards me. Ayoko ng may awkwardness or anything, Especially siya. Wala naman siyang ginagawang masama sa akin eh. I haven’t done anything bad to her din naman. Ayoko lang po ng may ganoon, gusto ko lahat friends.”
But when asked if they can be a close friend now, Nadine is quite not sure. But she stated that time will tell. What do you think?
