Millions of Aldub fans including foreign followers are enamored with the adorable AlDub love team of Eat Bulaga. The quirkiness of Yaya Dub and the sweet boy-next-door image of Alden Richards captured the public’s imagination with a dangling thought or perhaps a wishful thinking. Could Yaya Dub say yes to Alden in case the loveteam will crossover to reality?
Maine Mendoza appeared solo at the recent and first ever ‘fan-sign” one-on-one interview of the newest Kapuso showbiz oriented talk show “CelebriTV”. Co-host and premier newspaper columnist Ricky Lo managed to squeeze in some questions to Maine Mendoza about her instant stardom and the possibility of real life romance with Alden Richards.
On the said interview, Maine Mendoza admitted that there were huge changes in her life when the split-screen AlDub team became an overnight success. Maine told Ricky “Malaki po ang nagbago. Siyempre, ang privacy. (There were big changes including my privacy).”
Now that the AlDub loveteam is trending both on television and on social media, fans all over are anticipating a real romance between the split screen lovers. Recalling the previous AlDub in the mansion episode, when out of nowhere Yaya Dub shouted with her own voice the phrase “It must be love!” followers are quick to pick-up that there might be something special brewing between the two sensational Eat Bulaga stars.
During the interview Maine Mendoza admits that she was smitten by Alden’s eyes and his dimples but she also admires Alden all the more for being a true gentleman. Ricky Lo asked her if she seeing anyone or if she is like Alden who is very free, Yaya Dub quickly writes on her fan sign saying “Yes po, free po.” (“Yes, I am free.”)
Asked about Maine Mendoza’s true feelings for Alden Richards she said “no comment” but admitted that she feels something by saying “Kilig, syiempre.” which could otherwise be translated to “shivering moments or butterflies in the stomach.”
Ricky Lo also asked Maine Mendoza to provide meaning for each letter of Alden’s name. And Yaya Dub said- A is for amazing, L is for lovely, D is for (Alden’s) dimples, E is for exciting and N is for now and forever.
As the AlDub loveteam revealed in their everyday Kalyeserye presentation in Eat Bulaga, who knows when will Yaya Dub say yes to Alden if Alden Richards formally court her.
