6. Marcelito Pomoy has a unique singing talent where he is able to sing in both soprano and tenor.
During the finals he sang “The Prayer” both female and male parts of the song as rendered by Josh Groban and Celine Dion in one performance. He eventually the grand prize winner of 2011 Pilipinas Got Talent season 2 and now a recording artist for Star Records.
Marcelito Pomoy was born in Surigao del Sur and has been trying his luck on various singing contest. He released his first album “Duet Yourself” which includes popular songs such as the “The Prayer” and “Hanggang Ngayon”. At present, he is a regular host and singer at the ABS-CBN Sunday variety show ASAP.
