A social media post surfaced around March 16, 2016 that claims that 2015 Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is officially in a relationship with Dr. Mikhail “Doctor Mike” Varshavski.
The internet (specifically the part which is into pageantry and Pia Wurtzbach) lost its collective mind at the sight of this ‘news.’
The official Instagram of G3 San Diego screengrabs a change in a relationship update of a Pia Alonzo in Facebook posted last Friday, which we can assume to be on March 11, 2016.

The Instagram post has a caption:
Miss Universe na, ma jowa pa?
(Already a Miss Universe and in a relationship?)
Upon further follow through, we stumble over two Facebook accounts with ‘Pia Alonzo’ that has similar account name and image that could be the source of the buzz, but the controversial relationship status can no longer be seen in any of them.
Another social media post that strengthens the suspicion that the two high profile personalities are in a relationship is with the Instagram post made by a certain drmikequeenpia which includes another controversial photo suggesting or implying that Queen Pia and Doctor Mike take a photo in bed together (?).

There seems nothing wrong about two high-profile celebrities finding love in one another, but there is something worth noting and mentioning about in the Miss Universe website’s Frequently Asked Questions page which reads:
CAN I BE MARRIED?
No, contestants may not be married or pregnant. They must not have ever been married, not had a marriage annulled nor given birth to, or parented a child. The titleholders are also required to remain unmarried throughout their reign.
So as long as Pia and Mike don’t get married or Pia not having any unexpected pregnancy during her reign as Miss Universe, everything is good right? Yes and no. Yes as it Pia can be in any relationship in accordance to the Miss Universe criteria if she does value her title, and no because all these relationship announcements didn’t came from any official accounts of the parties involved and are simply but mere wishful thinking and speculations made by fans.

In the March 14th, 2016 Inquirer article, Pia denies that she is currently dating anyone in particular.
“”No. There’s no specific someone in my life. This is the specific someone. This is the priority,” wherein Pia showing her Miss Universe sash implying that she is focused on her duties as Miss Universe during a Facebook Live session last Saturday.
As much as fans give meaning to two individuals being single and good looking, it doesn’t mean anything in particular not unless one (preferably the woman) or both parties verify any change in relationship themselves, nor it is anyone’s business to force them to make their relationship (in whatever direction) public.
