Marian Rivera’s come-backing show “‘Yan Ang Morning” was supposed to be GMA Network’s answer to ABS-CBN’s “Kris TV,” the supposedly longest-running morning show airing until its host Kris Aquino decided to take a break from showbiz and aired its last episode on March 23.
ABS-CBN immediately replaced “Kris TV” with another morning show titled “Magandang Buhay” which already aired its first episode on April 18. Hosted by Melai Cantiveros, Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal, the show’s first guests were Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Marian Rivera’s morning talk show will air starting May 2 on the morning slot and possibly be “Magandang Buhay’s” rival show. When asked her reaction about the possible competition, Marian is not worried about it. She said, “You know what, TV networks are really like that. They have their own competitors, and own programs. So it is all good with me.”
Marian also added, “This is the talk show that does not need pretensions. You will see the real Marian Rivera in here.”
