“Encantadia” loosing its magic and two contending weekend primetime shows that went on top of their respective ratings board. That is how AGB Nielsen Urban Luzon ratings for July 23-24 has fared.
The much anticipated comeback of Kapuso fantaserye “Encantadia” seemed lacking in magic as it bowed to competition on its pilot week. After loosing to “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” on weekdays, “Encantadia” lost again on its weekend replay to ABS-CBN’s “Kapamilya Kiddie Blockbuster”. “Encantadia which scored 12.6%, fell short by 0.4% to ABS-CBN’s “Kapamilya Kiddie Blockbuster” which got 13.0%. Could it be the trend for Encantadia or can it bounced back to regain former glory?
Meanwhile, two contending weekend shows have finally landed on the top of their respective ratings board. “The Voice Kids 3” which previously ruled the Sunday primetime has finally conquered its Saturday slot. “The Voice Kids 3” Saturday edition ruled Saturday primetime ratings with 22.4% beating “Pepito Manaloto” which got 21.9%. Former Saturday leaders and long time rival “Magpakailanman” and “MMK” settled in 3rd and 4th places with 21.4% and 20.9% ratings respectively.
For Sunday primetime, “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” regained its former position topping the Sunday primetime programming. “KMJS” beats former leader “The Voice Kids 3” by only 0.3% at 21.4% to recapture the top spot. “The Voice Kids 3” which placed second got 21.1% ratings.
For daytime, “Eat Bulaga!” and “Sunday Pinasaya” continues to reign their respective ratings board.
