Julia Barretto will star in an upcoming movie titled “Vince and Kath” together with Joshua Garcia and Ronnie Alonte as her love interests. The movie is actually a film adaptation of a story that started as a viral hit on social media.
Yesterday, an Instagram user @itsmekyliej commented on Julia Barretto’s instagram account and asked her feelings about being the second choice as Kath inthe movie, as Janella Salvador was the first choice. @itsmekyliej asked her via comment: “Second choice ka lang pala sa movie na Vince & Kath, sinalo mo lang ung role from Janella. How does that make you feel? That you are not as famous as you think yourself to be?”
Julia responded to the commenter. She said, “You want to how it makes me feel? It makes me feel motivated. To do good, so good, so I can prove a lot of people who attack me the same way you do wrong. I feel motivated to keep going, keep pushing and keep trying until I become the person I have always dreamt myself to be. I will not let this negativity from you get the best of me. Instead I will thank you. Thank you for being another reminder not to give up. I will pray for you tonight and hope that tomorrow will be a better day for you. And I mean it.”
In an interview last week, Barretto explained that she has been eyeing characters for a romantic-comedy genre for a long time already, and was delighted to finally have the opportunity to do it.
