Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid visited the leading and longest running Sunday noontime show in the country “ASAP” on October 9, 2016. The singers of “ASAP” together with some OPM artists pay tribute to Regine’s husband, Ogie Alcasid, for his contributions and love for the OPM industry.
Her visit became some sort of mini-reunion with former performers of her previous musical-variety shows from “SOP” to “Party Pilipinas” and lastly “Sunday All Stars,” all became rival shows of “ASAP.”
For those thinking that Regine’s visit in “ASAP” yesterday will be a sign of her move to ABS-CBN, the possibility is still blurry as the Asia’s Songbird just renewed her network contract for another two years with GMA Network just this January.
