There is a Filipino saying that says to get good grades or achieve success, one should burn their eyebrows, meaning study or work until very late at night.

This Tuesday (January 17) on “My Puhunan,” award-winning broadcast journalist Karen Davila will meet entrepreneur Edwin Lisa, who worked hard to learn how to do eyebrow embroidery, and is now a proud owner of two salons known for making eyebrows “on fleek.”
The eldest of seven siblings, Edwin had to work triple-time as a fastfood crew to be able to provide for their family as well as earning a degree. His passion was in haircutting and grooming, and through hard work and determination, he was able to start his own business. Edwin wants to give back by helping people whenever he can, and this time, an elder barber Boy Domingo who cuts hair on a sidewalk, will be the lucky recipient of his goodness.
How will Edwin and Karen help the senior barber? Be inspired and be amazed by Edwin’s success story and good heart on the award-winning ABS-CBN current affairs program “My Puhunan” this Tuesday (January 17) at 9:30pm on DZMM Teleradyo, and after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
