“The online votes will be as if there is a 7th judge sitting there,” Shugart said after they announced the change in format in the 65th Miss Universe competition.
The show was hosted by Emmy Award-winning TV personality and comedian Steve Harvey, included in the panel for the coronation night are former Miss Universe winners Dayanara Torres, Sushmita Sen, and Leila Lopes with the three other judges include Mickey Boardman, the editorial director of fashion and pop-culture magazine, PAPER; TV star and former model Cynthia Bailey; and Emmy® and Tony award-winning producer and activist Francine LeFrak.
