“Siguro mag-focus na lang (si Aljur) sa baby nila at kung paano magiging) happy si Kylie. Mas maganda na doon na lang (s’ya) mag-focus,” Rochelle Pangilinan chided about Aljur’s statement regarding “Encantadia’s” ratings.
In one of PEP.ph’s interviews with Aljur Abrenica, the Kapuso actor stated that Kylie Padilla’s pregnancy is being used indirectly to promote GMA series “Encantadia,” where Pangilinan plays the antagonist role.
Abrenica stated in a previous PEP.ph interview, “I’ve read several articles, di ba? Sadly, nangyayari siya. Ginagamit ‘yung sitwasyon niya, ‘yung pregnancy niya. ‘Tapos sa huli, ipo-promote ‘yung isang show. And I’m not really happy about that because that’s my child.”
Asked about her reaction on Abrenica’s statement, the former Sex Bomb member said, “Wag naman sanang umabot sa ganun.”
Pangilinan also said that “Encantadia’s” rating was ascending before the issue of Padilla’s pregnancy erupted.
“Nagre-rate na ang Enca before, bago pa siya mabuntis, so huwag na tayong umabot sa ganun,” she chided.
She also advised the Kapuso actor to be moderate in what he says.
“At maghinay-hinay sana sa lahat ng lumalabas sa bibig, kasi maliit lang ang mundo… Makakasalubong at makakasalubong mo ang mga taong sinasabihan.
“Kung anuman, dapat maging happy na lang tayo sa sitwasyon. Dapat tumitingin na lang tayo ngayon sa kung ano ang mga plano nila, huwag na tayong magpasira.”
Pangilinan revealed that she watched the taped interview with Abrenica and said that the actor should focus in his baby with Padilla.
“Napanood ko yung interview niya, siguro mag-focus na lang sa baby nila at kung paano happy si Kylie… Mas maganda na doon na lang mag-focus.”
Then what was the reaction of her co-stars in “Encantadia?”
Pangilinan replied, “Wala, wala silang reaksiyon. Respeto yun kay Kylie.”
“Mabait na tao si Kylie at marunong makisama sa tao, respeto na lang yun ng lahat. And, usually, ang Encantadia staff, marunong namang rumespeto,” she added.
Although Pangilinan and Padilla star in “Encantadia,” Pangilinan said that she was one of the last people to know the pregnancy of Padilla.
