Whether you’re a half-Filipino, a one-fourth-Filipino or a one-eighth-Filipino, as long as you became well-known or became successul, you will eventually turn into a “pure” Filipino. The latest victim of this hype was the 65th Miss Universe first runner-up Raquel Pelissier of Haiti, who is said to be a half-Filipina. See? It’s a big deal here in the Philippines.
In relation to this, anothe “Filipina” has made it to the Israel version of “The Voice.” Since she got the majority of online votes, Ezra Liz Joy Ng was eligible to sing in the show’s semi-finals.
At the age of 17, Ng is the youngest finalist of the show.
“My friends encouraged me to join ‘The Voice Israel,’” she said.

Because singing is her passion, Ng has been performing at the events of Filipino community.
Also, Ambassador Imperial praised exalted Ng for making Filipinos in Israel proud. He said he’s proud to Ng for sharing her talent and elevating the image of Filipinos in Israel.
Meanwhile, a true Filipino caregiver in Israel named Rose Fostanes won the first season of another singing franchise, “X Factor Israel,” in January 2014.
