GMA News has apologized after one of its admins of their verified Facebook Page posted a comment about the tension-filled face-off between the media and PRRD supporters on March 23.
GMA News wrote: “We want to apologize for an inadvertent post on Thursday on the GMA News Facebook page which was intended by a staff member for his personal page. We are taking measures so this does not happen again.”
On Thursday, the network’s official Facebook page with more than 9.7 million likers shared a link to an article titled ‘Tensions rise between Leni critics, media during presscon’ with an opinion as caption that was supposed to be shared on a personal account.
The controversial comment was immediately deleted but some netizens were able to capture a screenshot which passed on Social Media channels.
