More than 10,000 vehicular accidents occurred last year according to the MMDA, including those involving motorcycles.

CCTV cameras all over the metro have captured motorcycle accidents, including one that caused the death of an old woman in Makati, who was struck by a rider while she was walking with her husband. Another reckless motorcycle driver was also recorded on cam speeding off and bumping into an oncoming tricycle, causing harm to others and himself.
