The hottest loveteam is back! Kimerald is now gracing our TV screens once again with their new teleserye “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” airing every morning on weekdays under ABS-CBN.
They’re now guesting all over Kapamilya’s shows. The most recent was their interview with Vice Ganda last night in “Gandang Gabi Vice.”
The two were put in hot seat by the host as they were asked to recall moments when they were still together. They dated exclusively after winning “Pinoy Big Brother” back in 2006.

1. P300 Load
When they were still a new couple fresh from the “Pinoy Big Brother” house (2006), Kim shared that she used to load p300 worth of load just to talk to Gerald on the phone.
2. Pink car from Gerald Anderson on her 18th birthday
We all remember the cute pink car Gerald gave Kim on her 18th. All girls envy Kim at that moment because she totally got the dream boyfriend!
3. It took Kim 2 years to recover from the relationship
When they broke up, Kim shared how it took so long for her to move on from her relationship with Gerald.
After two years, other guys started courting her and that’s when she realized that she’s still worth something even after the painful breakup.
4. Gerald tried to divert himself from their breakup with hobbies
Vice seemed to have figured out what guys do to recover from breakups. Gerald agreed that he did a handful of distractions like basketball, hitting the gym, and getting drunk with friends. It was his own process.
5. They grew through the years without each other
Kim said that their separation helped them grow as a person and as a celebrity. It helped them both in the long run, especially with their career in showbiz.
6. Gerald is thankful for having to meet Kim in his life
Gerald gave a sweet remark saying that Kim was like the foundation if he is a house. He explained how she has helped him throughout the years they’ve spent together and that she played a big part into shaping who he has become today.
7. They are very generous to each other
They both agreed that no one in the relationship was more generous. It was like a competition, they said, when it comes to giving each other gifts.
Kim may have received a car from Gerald but he got also his fair share. Kim gave him a Rolex watch and a refrigerator.
Gerald shared that he still keeps those things while Kim admitted all of what she got from him were gone now.
8. They didn’t have any closure
The moment Vice asked them if they had any closure, the two looked at each other intently. They confessed that they didn’t have one because it just stopped.
It came to a point when they don’t want to pretend that they’re not okay anymore. Since then, they eventually figured the magic has faded.
Kim and Gerald are now back as love team in ABS-CBN’s newest teleserye titled “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin,” airs on Prime Tanghali before “It’s Showtime.”
