GMA Network’s newest actor Gil Cuerva admitted that he feels pressured over his first-ever major role in the Pinoy adaptation of “My Love from the Star”, which will be airing this May.
Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado is also headlining the said series with Gil.
According to the article written by entertainment site PEP.ph, Gil said he is under a lot of pressure since he is new to show business industry.
“There’s an immense amount of pressure, especially when it comes to proving my worth,” he admitted.
Gil also stated that he is just embracing the process of being a newbie in showbiz. The actor added that he will keep on improving his acting skills as each day goes by.
The 22-year-old was also asked by the press how his first onscreen kiss turned out.
He revealed, “I was very nervous. It wasn’t like I was just going to have a kissing scene with anyone. Si Jennylyn yung ka-kissing scene ko so I’ll admit, I was very nervous.
“I guess that’s the best word to describe the feeling but nakaya naman. We were able to get through it.”
